Twitter, Mario Rossi and Tim Holtz prize

This has been a long week and weekend.

My husband has been working overtime and my youngest son has been sick all week.

Not much happening at home right now…

I have been crocheting more dishcloths, a perfect craft when taking care of sick kids.

What about the title for this post?

Well, Tim Holtz business manager Mario is having a fun giveaway on Twitter.

If you follow @mariojrossi at Twitter you can be in on the fun too!

Tonight when I was just logging in he sent out a tweet for a price and I won!

So happy about that! I won a Tiny attacher and they will send it all the way to me in Sweden, nice huh?

So if you’re a scrapbooker and love free stuff (who doesn’t?) go follow him too.

this post will be in Swedish

This post will be in Swedish since it’s a funny thing and I don’t think I could translate it good enough. :)

Det här hittade jag hos Grodis, det var så roligt att jag var tvungen att prova själv:

1. Ta fram din mobil.
2. Gå till inkorgen!
3. Svara på frågorna genom att skriva första meningen i sms:en

Fråga 1 – första meningen i första sms:et
Fråga 2 – första meningen i andra sms:et, o.s.v .

Japp, kl 17

something to think about

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.

Vidar 2 weeks old

Layout about my son when he was 2 weeks old.
The background paper is black (gray) and white from the beginning, I ‘ve colored it with pens and added some stickles and rhinestones (flowers).

just to let you know…

I’m here, but life is busy this week and I haven’t had time to update yet.

I am longing to get the christmas lights up!

star

Living in a country where the sun sets at like 3:30 pm this time of year (and it’s getting darker by the day!) makes your four year old make comments like this one: “Mom, why are we going outside in the middle of the night?”   when you’re leaving the house at 5 pm.    :)

So when we put up the christmas lights it seems like our whole country lights up a little!

I have had a hard time sleeping for a couple of nights, bad for being a social being at day, good for crafting at night…. I seem to have a real scrap mojo right now and I have been scrapping tonight.

I am to tired to start up the other computer (where I can scan my layouts) so you will have to wait to see what I’ve created.

I hope I will find time tomorrow to show you, so please check back on me then.

Last sunday I wrote this post. I promised I would show you a layout about the photo and the story, so here we go:

3 things

  1. Margies cake – I found this blog via Shimelles class. Margie made this birthday cake for her son. It’s plain awesome! Go check it out!
  2. Twitter – I’m addicted! Join if you want (and do let me know if you do) and if you want you can start following me here.
  3. Handmade home – I have probably told you about this book before. I really really want a copy of this! Her first book Creative family is also on my wishlist.
